My latest shoot was at Kencana Art Photography Studio, which has brilliant facilities and a range of dreamy settings (both indoor and outdoor). The gorgeous wedding gowns are from Bramanta Wijaya Sposa's latest collection and I absolutely love all the flowery braids and crowns put together by MUA Mila Wijaya. These pics will appear in the BellaDonna July 2013 Edition, in which I also pose as a couple with one of my good friends!

I think the make-up and hair gives me a completely different look and I was surprised to see that I could actually pull off a more androgynous high-fashion style. My Artsy Stuffs

So this is what I get up to in my spare time. I'm not too great at still-life or impressionist styles, but I am good at paying attention to detail so I like to create works with fine lines and lots of patterns to create texture. All of my illustrations are made with pencil and pen (then I sometimes use Photoshop to fill in colour or add extra effects), and you can make queries and check out my other works on my Official Page. Haven't had much time for drawing lately though as I'm getting ready to move to Taipei =) hopefully I'll get a chance to be artistic soon though. Please let me know if you have any requests or suggestions!

I've waited so long to do a Die Antwoord-inspired shoot and I finally got round to it this weekend with the help of Mas Widi and Babon. Die Antwoord is one of my fav musical groups at the moment and vocalist Yolandi Visser is such an awesomely edgy fashion idol! It was a perfectly orchestrated collaboration; Mas Widi is awesome at photography and lighting, I handled the concepting, styling and make-up, and Babon is responsible for the wonderful impressionist art covering the wall and my tshirt. I really love trying new things and experimenting with creative styles (and it's both fun and challenging to produce something more artistic and less 'pretty' lol) so I hope to do more like this soon =)

Going Solo

This weekend was me, @iphann, @nicowijaya and @claradevi's long-awaited roadtrip to Solo city! By the time we'd navigated our way from Yogyakarta (Ivan and Nico did all the work while me and Clara had a nap in the back seat!) we were all starving, so the first place of interest on our agenda was Mbak Lies Warung Selat Solo on Jl. Serengan Gang II. The decor is an interesting mixture of traditional Chinese and Dutch and the whole menu is delicious! After our bellies were full we ventured to Jl. Diponegoro to wander around the Triwindu Antique Market. It was great to explore a new city with friends and snap some pics on the way =) Hope to go on another expedition soon!

This time of year is always tough for singletons, and me and my fellow bachelorette Clara Devi are no exception. However, we do our best to turn negatives into positives and be thankful for all of the great relationships we have (be it family, friends or pets). Sometimes we all crave attention or affection from some outer source, forgetting that those around us are always ready to take care of us when we need it. So this year we decided to try out some androgynous looks and be our own 'special someones'!

Crazy Cuttings

Behold my latest random creative pursuit; it started out as a couple of cards made for my mates @claradevi and @anglaina and then developed into a new passion. Been trying out some different styles, colours and backgrounds and testing multiply-layer cuttings - hopefully by process of trial and error I'll be able to improve and concoct more crafty creations!
